Hi, I don't know wether this is for linux-kernel or for this list, so excuse me if I am OT. The driver for my SoundblasterPCI128 did work up to 2.4.14 flawlessly. But with pre6 and pre8 all the modules are still compiling and loading OK but sound has stopped completely. Even workbone only starts the CD, but does not produce any sound. But Timidity complains about some device it cannot open and so does alsamixer and so on.But there is nothing in the logs to start investigating. I have an Athlon 700 on an ASUS K7V MOBO. Any help appreciated. Sorry if that's the wrong place.
