Yes. > Why I do not find the string "hack for Mitac" in the sources? It's in alsa-driver/lowlevel/cs461x.c. The driver checks sub-vendor/device ids and add hack for EAPD bit controls. However, as long as I looked at it, there seems no fatal error around it. After this happens, does the machine freeze or do you still have control? If possible, please run "dmesg | ksymoops" and send us the trace of oops.
