Actually, if you take a look at the emu10k1 devel mailing-list, you can have some information about a patch for the emu10k1 driver which can get some sound from an Audigy. http://opensource.creative.com/pipermail/emu10k1-devel/ I didn't tried it, but if you can test it, it could help a lot.
