Hum, difficult to have a precise point of view of what's inside my notebook. The most precise information about my model (770Z) if at ftp://ftp.pc.ibm.com/pub/pccbbs/mobiles/770hwsw.pdf, page 3 : Both audio and midi chips are identified as CS4239, and there's no trace of an hypothetical AC97 chip. This information is clearly in contradiction on what is returned by lspci...
