I have two minor problems with alsa 0.9.0beta10 which I would like to try and get solved soon:
1) is there any way to make the alsa/oss mixer name for the SBLive! (emu10k1) a little more descriptive than "mixer00"? 2) while playing msuic back through xmms (CVS with the MMX/3dNOW decoder patch and alsaout patch) and using oss for the output in xmms I can use the mouse to adjust the volume anywhere from 0-100% and watch aumix react corectly, however while using the up/down arrow keys to control the volume the xmms slider bar ALWAYS gets stuck and won't go any lower than 21% or higher than 37%. It also gets stuck in other ranges such as 0%-8%, there might be a few others, what would cause this to happen? This does not happen when using the alsaout plugin, but it has it's own set of problems.
