   Are you aware that the snd-card-pdplus.o driver
is doing floating point in the kernel? On ppclinux
we get unresolved symbols from this driver (yes
I know it won't work for us but it is built by
default on debian)...

snd-card-pdplus.o: unresolved symbol __fixdfsi
snd-card-pdplus.o: unresolved symbol __floatsidf
snd-card-pdplus.o: unresolved symbol __muldf3
snd-card-pdplus.o: unresolved symbol __adddf3

Shouldn't this behavior be eliminated? I am told
doing floating point in the kernel is a bad thing.
Also many arches may not export or even support
these symbols from from kernels.
