Hello everybody! Before starting to dive into driver programing I thought I'd better ask:
Anyone heard of the ELRAD magazine's digital soundcard project "Take five" (isa card with optical s/pdif in and out, http://www.xs4all.nl/~fjkraan/digaud/elrad/9408048/ )? Ok. I built one. It work[ed|s] fine (the author also wrote drivers for linux). Does anyone by chance already has updated this driver to fit into the ALSA scheme? No? Damn ;-). Ok I will try to. But so far no nothing about driver programming and alsa. Is there more doc than the "ALSA 0.5.0 Programming documentation" and the card-dummy.c about writing the driver in alsa? Trying to be lazy and get away without learning: Anyone has nothing and is bored and greeding after taking a look at the old drivers. Perhaps it's an half hour c&paste job for someone involved into alsa sound driver business. Here they are: http://www.xs4all.nl/~fjkraan/digaud/elrad/9408048/a16linux.tar Ok so far, happy hacking, Georg BTW: anyone knows the status of the successor card ("PCI Recoder") driver? _______________________________________________ Alsa-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-devel
