I have just uploaded a template for the idea PD had to make a complete howto for each card and link it to the sound card matrix or something similar.
You can find it here: http://www.boosthardware.com/LAU/alsa/template2.html I would appreciate help from people to collect these things. Working modules.conf parameters and working .asoundrc files. Obviously I could do this myself but the parameters I provide will be next to useless for some cards. eg rme9652. Please send me the info as text. Also I have not recieved any feedback on my attempt at updating the mainpage to meet peoples requests. In case you missed it you can find it here: http://www.boosthardware.com/LAU/alsa/ -- Patrick Shirkey - Boost Hardware Ltd For the discerning hardware connoisseur Http://www.boosthardware.com Http://www.boosthardware.com/LAU/Linux_Audio_Users_Guide/ --- Kevin Conder <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >On Fri, 15 Feb 2002, Andy Wingo wrote: > >> On Fri, 15 Feb 2002, Kevin Conder wrote: >> >> > <rant> >> > Finally, if you're going to turn everything over to the Wikki >> > kiddies then count me out!
