A partner and I are looking to conduct a project within ALSA for an undergraduate project course. We both recently completed a fairly intensive operating systems course, but have no experience with sound-card drivers. We plan to spend about 8 weeks on this project, and basically would like to inquire about any possible projects, which, at the end of the 8 weeks, could provide us with some results that we can test and demonstrate. We are inquiring because we're not completely certain on how to guage the amount of work going into sound-driver related projects. We are open to any recommendations or suggestions which would provide us with a project useful to the ALSA community, without biting off more than we are able to chew within the next 8 weeks.
