AK4524 is a 24-bit 96 kHz stereo CODEC (AD & DA converter). CS8427 is a transceiver chip handling IO for the AK4524's and also S/PDIF interfaces. JRC's chip is most probably an operational amplifier handling analog buffering and filtering. - Jussi Laako -- PGP key fingerprint: 161D 6FED 6A92 39E2 EB5B 39DD A4DE 63EB C216 1E4B Available at PGP keyservers _______________________________________________ Alsa-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-devel
