The alsa-utils-0.9.0rc1.tar.bz2 on the ftp sites is missing acconfig.h (needed for 'make dist').
'make dist' is needed by buildrpm. ./configure make make install works thus for the tar, but ./configure cd utils ./buildrpm doesn't work for the released tar. I could generate acconfig.h myself by running cvscompile, but: The newer automake (I use 1.5) uses $(AMTAR) and not $(TAR), breaking 'make dist'. -- Carlo Wood <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> _______________________________________________________________ Have big pipes?
