..main reason for joining this list, is it ever going to be fixed? :)

Here is what i've learned about all my experiences so far with the
Inspiron 8200 and the CS4205:

My kernel right now, it works fine for a few minutes then starts playing
extremely choppy.. until I remove the module. Odd thing, if I turn APM
off, this still happens but not as quick.

And, when device is opened or closed, loud pops and clicks that I am
pretty sure aren't good for my speakers at loud volumes happen..


I'm at a loss kinda here -- the oss/free drivers play audio but thats
about it. If anyone has got this working or can help me, I'd appreciate
it alot..

I would help with any developmental issues but my knowledge in coding
things related to sound drivers are extremely lacking :/
