The "Apple Speakers" that come with the cube. (They're just 2 usb
speakers. No subwoofers or anything like that).

I upgraded my drivers to the latest usb version and now mpg123 works.
However, the native alsa interface still doesn't seem to work.
Running xmms with the native alsa plugin still produces just static.
Trying to start esd produces the following error messages:
