Hi, the alsa-lib cvs tree now includes the part of alsa-kernel header files. this means that you do NOT have to install alsa-driver in advance before building alsa-lib any longer. you can comiple alsa-lib alone. this brings a bit increase of source code lines, but who cares? :)
