Greetings!

I'm new to developing with ALSA. I'd like to ask two questions:

1. Is there a good guide to porting applications written for 0.5.x to
0.9.0? I'm trying to fix mpg123 to work with ALSA 0.9.0 natively;
current stable version (0.59r) barfs when compiling all over
audio_alsa.c.

2. I'd also like to know if the "Multiple streams to one" plugin does
mixes all of the streams into a single PCM stream. Can this be used to
make two MP3 player applications (e.g. mpg123, once its fixed for ALSA)
play at the same time, even on a crappy non-hardware-mixing card like
usb-audio or via82xx? Has anyone tried this?

Thanks for the response!
Scott
