Those are documents for alsa-lib. There are no such documents for the driver. You can do as I did. Read the source for the drivers that are already there, then ask questions on the list as they arise. If you're lucky, Paul or Takashi will answer. If you can understand any of Jaroslav's posts, you are well on your way to being a driver writer.
