as far as i've tested, my ews88mt works fine with the current cvs release. 32bit/96kHz playback seems for 10min. except for the distortion problem about two minutes with your app, what kind of problem are you having? i'd been on vacation so i couldn't keep tracking the thread. i'll be able to test the same program on my machine.
