Can you tell me if this is now in the cvs snapshot? I have an audigy 2 and have had these kinds of difficulties and wish to use alsa to get it working. Are there any special settings or commands i should know about for the audigy 2 in particular? i just check out the cvs for drivers, utils, libs and kernel and then do the ./cvscompile for drivers, libs and then utils, and then edit modules.conf and a few other things with the mixer... should this be all?
