i don't know. i just know that both my system and that of my first paying customer lock up when JACK is run SCHED_FIFO, and it normally happens within 10 minutes.
Ok, there's a difference compared to my problem. My computer locks up within a couple of seconds. So, obviously we're not talking about the same problem. Also, I have to install newer ALSA and JACK to see if the lock-up is still there.
