After doing some test, I have found that I can have some noise only after an hot reboot of my powerbook (Mac OS X to Yellowdog Linux) with the card plugged.
The strange thing is with hot reboot the card does not appear in /proc/bus/firewire (I haven't the laptop here to check). With a cold boot or an unplug/plug the card appears in /proc/bus/firewire but I haven't succesfully made any noise with this card. So perhaps there is a firmware uploading in Mac OS X like the RME Multiface. Tell me if you need more informations. Thanks a lot for your help, best regards, Simon. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
