I've got a VIA 8235 and can reproduce bug #43 (Rear + LFE/Center almost silent) using alsa-kernel and alsa-driver from cvs (co today).
Now i'd like to know if someone is working on a fix, or if I'm better of buying a "real" soundcard to get 5.1 ?
