All,

I've been having problems for some time with ALSA and the new MAudio Delta
DIO 2496 Card that I got a couple of months ago. The software I'm using seems
to have problems using native ALSA...but that's another issue entirely.
However, the OSS emulation isn't working properly either...and I figured that
some people here might have a clue.

Even up to the latest drivers / libs / utils (1.0.4), I get popping or
clicking in the audio output using the OSS emulation (/dev/dsp). I'm running
Fedora Core 1 (standard kernel - 2.4) with the following entries in
modules.conf:

# --- BEGIN: Generated by ALSACONF, do not edit. ---
# --- ALSACONF verion 1.0.4 ---
alias char-major-116 snd
alias char-major-14 soundcore
alias sound-service-0-0 snd-mixer-oss
alias sound-service-0-1 snd-seq-oss
alias sound-service-0-3 snd-pcm-oss
alias sound-service-0-8 snd-seq-oss
alias sound-service-0-12 snd-pcm-oss
alias snd-card-0 snd-ice1712
alias sound-slot-0 snd-ice1712
# --- END: Generated by ALSACONF, do not edit. ---

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Brian
