Hi everyone ! I've installed the snd-card-cs461x on my system. The driver loads, but I can't use alsactl or amixer. The following error message appears:
Starting sound driver: snd-card-cs461x alsactl: MIXER open error: Invalid argument What could cause such a behaviour ? I'm 99,9 % sure the cs461x is the correct driver. Maybe it's my asound.conf. It contains junk written by alsactl for a dummy device which I loaded for testing. I can't use alsactl to write asound.conf because of this error message. Any idea what I could do ?
