If these interfaces are USB devices, they won't work with ALSA, probably not for the next time. But there are OSS compatible USB drivers for the Midiman USB interfaces at http://member.nifty.ne.jp/Breeze/softwares/unix/usbmidi-e.html. You can use them in parallel to ALSA, AFAIK.
