arecord shows a strange behaviour (probably I'm misunderstanding something?)
$arecord -l
card 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], device 0: VT1802 Analog [VT1802 Analog]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 1: RC300 [RC-300], device 0: USB Audio [USB Audio]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
$arecord -dhw:1 -c2 -fS16_LE -r44100 ~/test.wav
or
$arecord -dhw:1,0 -c2 -fS16_LE -r44100 ~/test.wav
records from my internal soundcard.(also plughw)
About midi:the truth is I don't really understand anything about it, sorry.
The only things I can tell you is that through midi cables to my
soundcard the device outputs a midi clock and some sysex messages, and I
never was able to send any cc message to it. I used a program called
Kmidimon to monitor.
Through USB no sign of life, neither kmidimod neither amidi (but I'm not
sure which options to use).
If you point me in the right direction I'm willing to do any further
testing needed.
Thank you.
