Hi, I have M7VKB motherboard, but I am not completly sure if it has via686a or via686b. Anyway, I followed the instructions accurately (I hope). I have installed ALSA and modified modules.conf, I have also typed modprobe snd-card-via686a Then the driver is loaded. I can see it using lsmod. The problems is: Kmix doesn't work, it could not open mixer. I have tried loading manually snd-mixer-oss module, but mixer is still not working. I'm using Dragon Linux (an Slackware based distribution) with kernel 2.2.16
