Hi. I've got a cmi based soundcard (AudioExcell MD-MATE). It's connected to my receiver/amplifier through coax-spdif. For my analog satellite-tv receiver card I'd like to use her as an on-the-fly analog-to-digital converter. How can this be achieved with alsa-0.9/snd-pcm-cmipci? Simultaneous analog recording and playback over spdif is no solution because of the delay caused by the recording buffer. I just need something like a 'analog-in to spdif-out monitor' function.
