Is it possible with ALSA drivers (current or beta) to have multiple PCM sound sources play back at the same time?
There have been a few references on other lists indicating that > modern sound hardware can multiplex multiple users of /dev/dsp > together itself, without anyone else in the middle. In particular, I'm using the snd-card-intel8x0 module if that makes any difference. Jamin W.
