Hello *, I have a problem with Alsa 0.9 and Quake 3. Xine and XMMS working fine, but in Quake I got no sound at all. Quake is running, but without sound. (Xine and XMMS with OSS-Emulation, not direct ALSA-Support)
My System is a Debian GNU/Linux unstable with Kernel 2.4.14 and ALSA 0.9.0beta9. I heard of some incompatiblity between Quake3 and some soundcards. Is this true? Is there a list of soundcards not working with Q3A? I also tried 0.5.11, but Quake segfaults. (I can post some strace output, if it helps to analyse the problem) Thanks in advance. bye Waldemar -- Are your questions smart enough? http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html _______________________________________________ Alsa-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user
