Using cvs I can listen to both front and rear channels of this card. I get the same
signal through both channels if I specify hw:1,0 or hw:1,2. hw:1,1 does not work here
but I assume that is the spdif out which my version of this card does not have.
What is the likelyhood of being able to specify the channels seperately?
I would like to be able to mix two different streams at one time. One
through hw:1,0 and the other through hw:1,2. Then it owuld be possible
to turn this card into the cheapest digital dj mixing console in the world.

Does the hardware or the code that you have allow this to happen Takashi
or is it another one of those propriety problems where the code has only
been released as a binary and they won't allow you to work with it?
Along the same lines as the problem many cards have with hardware mixing
support.

Anyway thanks for making this card work properly it will definitely be
good for gamers ;-) I can buy them for < us$10 in Korea.

And the sound quality issue I mentioned a couple of days ago has gone
away as the card warmed up wiht a few good tunes.
