I've not had any problems with the driver since about a week after 0.9beta7. 0.9beta8(a) seems fine here, so I'd try that or do a clean checkout, I don't seen anything in the last update that could affect ice1712, and the build/restart from yesterday was fine. N.B. I'm still running 2.4.6 kernel. I've got a 2.4.10 but haven't had time to build it.
