I'm still having problems with my EWX 24/96 card (Envy24/ICE1712) Although compilation of the module wend OK. Loading of the modules seems OK. The information in /proc/asound seems OK. I can start amixer and change settings. OK. But when I want to play a sound-file the computer hangs/stops. I tried the beta versions .9 and .10. The stable release only gives me a MIDI device but no playback possibility. (I doesn't kill my computer so that better) Has anybody got sound out of a similar card... Please tell me how you did it?
