Hey there, first of all, please CC me ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) since I'm not on the list. I'm sorry about that but I receive too much email already :-(
Anyways, I have several things I'd like to know which I couldn't find in the FAQ. 1. Why aren't your drivers in the kernel if the aim is to surpass OSS? That would mean your drivers are better and it's 'stupid' to put lesser drivers in a kernel if you ask me...... 2. I'm downloading the package now because my soundcard (vt8233 integrated in my Via southbridge) isn't supported by the kernel. However I use linux on a lot of systems. On my other systems the soundcards are supported by the kernel. Now, would you people suggest I ditch the kernel drivers and install yours? If so, would you mind explaining why? (What advantages would I get by doing so). Well that's it for now :-) my compile is almost done.... Now let's see if I can get this to work :-) Kind regards _______________________________________________ Alsa-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user
