Hi there, Now, when I've managed to make ALSA running I went to the CreativeLabs page ( the link from the ALSA-Cardmatrix for my SoundBlaster 64 PCI )
They announce that there are up to 128 instrument voices and up to 10 drum voices available on this card. ( In an old machine I have still an Sounblaster 1 ( 8-bit ). This card already has 8 instrument voices, and the DOS driver and sample apps used FM-synthesis. I even have a book with BASIC and PASCAL example programs about this. ) Can enyone tell me, how/if I can use the FM voices of my newer card, or will I stuck with MIDI?
