I got a problem during installation of ALSA driver on my RedHat 7.2. I have a VIA VT8233 AC'97 sound card. The problem that I got are : - during the kernel compilation Do I have to compile the kernel until it is ready to use and I use it during the driver installation? - modify conf.modules file what should I write in this file? I got confused in this part when I read the Installation Guidance file included in the driver. Would you mind helping me solving this problem? Thank you.
