Dear all,

I have also had some problems with asound.conf - there isn't one on my machine.
I'm running a Hoontech with an Envy?? chip (can't remember the numbers). my
problem, more generally, is that i don't know, and can't find out, the syntax
for alsactl. Are there any resources for this that i don't know about or have
overlooked?

Many thanks,

Dan
