Hi all,
   I've just compiled the ALSA drivers/lib/utils for my P4 machine and 
   everything seems to have compiled fine. But, I'm able to adjust the
   volume only through the headphone slider on the mixer ( and not the 
   master as it usually is), giving a degraded quality. Also, mpg123 
   (or 321) gives an libao oss error sometimes. The motherboard is intel 
   with i8x0 chipset. Can anyone please help me out?
