Hi,

I have an AZT3000 sound card (SoundIII) of a Packard Bell pc.
Alsa 0.5.10a module snd-card-azt2320 worked perfectly with my card, but as I
try newer 0.9.x series, I get error messages that the card is not found.
I also tried alsa snd-azt2320 linux kernel 2.5.5-pre1, only to fail.

With 0.5.10a and linux kernel 2.4.5, I modprobed by

  /sbin/modprobe snd-card-azt2320 \
    snd_irq=5 snd_mpu_port=0x330 \
    snd_mpu_irq=9 snd_dma1=1 snd_dma2=0

before I modprobe isa-pnp module. And it worked.
The same thing I tried with 0.9.x, and it failed.
I also tried modprobing and setting (using /proc/isapnp) isa-pnp first and
then modprobing snd-card-azt2320, failed again. I tried different params,
and again it failed.

Is it a bug, or has something changed dramatically from 0.5.x to 0.9.x?

Thanks a lot.
Chirok
