I'm working on getting sound out of my PBook and have noticed some funny behavior in alsamixer. First, let me say that I've been able to compile and load the snd-powermac module. However, I have yet to get any sound out of the speakers.
In alsamixer, the master capture defaults to on. If I turn it off the master automatically mutes itself whenever I increase or decrease the master volume. Could this be due to a refresh happening when I up/down the volume? That is, the mute is never actually being turned off and when I change the volume alsamixer is refreshing the screen values?
