How the hell? :) I'm also running into some errors in installing the releases on the homepage of www.alsa-project.org. If version.h is incorrect, such as it contains the information for a previous kernel level, such as in my case, 2.4.9, it will continually loop till killed when running a ./configure of alsa-driver-0.5.12a. Bad bad. (Would cut&paste, but I'm still getting used to the tiny differences between Linux (Between console and XF86) and Win32)
And um.. there is no version.h in my /usr/src/linux/include/linux/, so I copied it from /usr/include/linux/ which appears to be one patch older than my current kernel. David. A nut in a sea of kernels. _______________________________________________ Alsa-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user
