Hello, somebody said that this is now working in the actual CVS. I installed the newest CVS and nothing worked for me, except the normal OSS output e.g. in xmms (digital and analog).
SP/DIF doesn't work at all, not with mplayer or xine! when I start: xine -A alsa09 I get error: ------ XINE lib audio_alsa_out.c:880:(init_audio_out_plugin) snd_pcm_open() failed: -13 XINE lib audio_alsa_out.c:881:(init_audio_out_plugin) >>> Check if another program don't already use PCM <<< load_plugins: audio output plugin /usr/local/lib/xine/plugins/xineplug_ao_out_alsa.so: init_audio_out_plugin failed. main: the specified audio driver 'alsa09' failed ------ Yes the /dev/ devices are chmod'ed :) Maybe somebody can explain the complete way to get SP/DIF output? thx for your help - Stefan _______________________________________________ Alsa-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user
