I've installed alsa drivers and I can't seem to play any sound.
/proc/asound/card0 shows everything working normally, as far as I know. I've run the following commands to unmute the device amixer set Master 22 unmute amixer set Aux 22 unmute amixer set Line 22 unmute amixer set PCM 22 unmute my setup looks like this dmeggy@The_Machine:/etc/alsa$ cat modutils/0.9 \# ALSA native device support alias char-major-116 snd alias snd-card-0 snd-card-via8233 # OSS/Free setup alias char-major-14 soundcore alias sound-slot-0 snd-card-0 alias sound-service-0-0 snd-mixer-oss alias sound-service-0-1 snd-seq-oss alias sound-service-0-3 snd-pcm-oss alias sound-service-0-8 snd-seq-oss alias sound-service-0-12 snd-pcm-oss dmeggy@The_Machine:/etc/alsa$ I know very little about alsa, and would very much appreciate any help.
