I downloaded and installed the modules, did a modprobe snd-ens1371 and fired up
alsaplayer (after recompiling) and the sound is horrible. Many, many pops and
cracks and the tempo is too slow. The same is true if I load the oss driver and
try it in XMMS.

The .5.x versions seem to work ok with alsaplayer. The sound all of the sudden
falls out of sync when I use the OSS compatibility under XMMS.

I do have an ASUS board with built in sound, but I have disabled it (last I
checked).
