I'm trying to get a Zoltrix Nightingale card with the optical IO
daughtercard to work in a RedHat 7.3 system. I've compiled and
installed 0.9.0rc1.
My modules.conf file looks like:

modprobe snd-cmipci returns with no error messages.
Dmesg contains the following, which I assume is related to the problem:

Trying to play a sound results in no sound output through the analog
ports (I tried plugging in the audio jack to all of the ports). I do
get an error part of the way through:
aplay /tmp/cdda.wav
Playing WAVE '/tmp/cdda.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate 44100
Hz, Stereo
aplay: pcm_write:968: write error: Input/output error
I haven't tried the optical ports yet.
Suggestions?
