I try alsa-rc2 in my laptop compaq pressario 706EA with via686 and i think (or I am dreaming ) that works better than rc1 (the first one that works). so, it is a great sound that I have now !!! thank you.
After analyze, I understand one thing that can be work, but isn't and I will try to explain, when I press the physical button (- and +) of laptop , works correctly up and down the sound. Resuming: Correctly when I press this buttons, should up and down master volume in aumixer. (like when xmms if up or down volume, up and down Pcm volume) this because if for example I press - until mute the sound, if I move master in aumix the sound backs, I can put it lauder, but if I press again in one button (- or +) the sound back to mute mode. understood? the tips is before in aumix move the master volume to the present volume. and when moves master move the present volume.
