no midi is supported on this chipset.
i mean, no mpu401 support and no wavetable.

if you want to play midi files only, try timidity.

this doesn't matter.
it shows only that the oss modules are not loaded.
(and even if snd-seq-oss is loaded, the synth item still shows "not
enabled")
