Hi! I'm trying to utilize the hardware mixing capability of my sblive. I can play audio through the pcm channels 0 to 31 with 'aplay -D hw:0,0,# some.wav', where # is the subdevice. Now, what I would like to do is to control the volume settings of these channels. I recall that in an earlier version of alsa, alsamixer displayed a whole array of controls labeled 'pcm send' and 'pcm routing', but not anymore. Now that I'm using rc2, they can be seen in /etc/asound.state and gamix finds them but doesn't let me move the sliders. Are these the controls I'm looking for? If there is a way to control the gain of each channel separately, how can I accomplish this?
