Hello there, I'm trying to install the alsa driver for the hammerfall CardBus system... which is part of the CVS and in Beta state, I know. Everything goes fine with the installation according to the installation instructions from the WebPage, but when I try to do "make install" after the compilation of the alsa driver, there is an error in the end, saying there would be "snd-hdsp.o" file contains "unresolved symbols". Obviously there is no way to do snddevices or modprobe with an .o file containing unresolved symbols.
All the hints, including the cleaning of the Kernel sources that are suggested on the alsa.opensource.org page to get rid of unresolved symbols don't work. Has anyone ever gotten this to work at all?
