I just insalled alsa 0.9.0rc3 and configured it in the manner that
http://beyond.linuxfromscratch.org/view/cvs/multimedia/alsa-driver.html
describes. I have an SBLive and am using snd-emu10k1. I can run
`alsactl store` without any trouble, but when I try to run `alsactl
restore` my computer freezes. The only thing I can do at that point is
power off. One other thing to note: when I modprobe snd-emu10k1 I get
the message:

PCI: Found IRQ 12 for device 02:0a.0
PCI: Sharing IRQ 12 with 00:1f.2

lspci -vv says that 02:0a.0 is Multimedia audio controller: Creative
Labs SB Live! EMU10K1
and that 00:1f.2 is USB Controller: Intel Corp. 82801BA/BAM USB (Hub #1)
(rev 02) (prog-if 00 [UHCI])

I've tried running alsactl restore with the modules loaded and without
the modules loaded. Nothing seems to help. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Daniel Bingham
