The best way to test full-duplex would be to stard 

$ arecord -f S16_LE -c 1 -r 44100 in.wav 

and in te second terminal you run 

$ aplay in.wav

So you will hear what you are recording but with some delay (dpends on
how long it tok you to start aplay).

I have no problems with SBPCI 128 and ens1370 driver.
